This was on my To Do List for way too long - about 10 years! And I think I've done it, made a sweet fanny pack in a great size - not too small, not too big. It has a rear zipper pocket too! A solid brass buckle makes for easy adjustment on a heavy weight harness leather belt that will break in beautifully. The zippers are industrial quality. This design has quite a few pattern pieces, it's more technical production work than some of my classic minimal styles. Labour intensive yes. Tough, durable, beautiful and functional too. I hope you love it xo
Length (side to side) 14"
Width (top back to top front zipper) 4"
Main zipper opening 13.5"
Rear zipper opening 7"
Total belt length 40" *adjustable length*

*Similar to the Ruby leather, there could be some initial ‘shedding’ of fibres from the minimal raw edge construction - this will subside, and the occasional shake out when your bag is empty will help speed the process. Visiting a professional cobbler to acquire a spray protectant is always an option.
*A note on leather: leather gets better with age! Black leather will change more in hand (feel) while lighter coloured leather will take on more visual character - similar to a beautiful pair of brown leather boots or a favourite brown leather belt. Leather is a natural product and therefore hide colour variations, signs of wear and tear, and colour changes from daily use are normal. The character of leather will evolve over time, so irregularities, patina, and changes to texture should be considered natural parts of the evolution of your leather object. Irregularities should not be considered faults, but rather part of the charm of the natural beauty of leather.
